My Yoga Journey To Find Yoga Bliss
I have been teaching yoga for 20 years.
I discovered yoga at 16 but there were few resources (Pre Internet and Social Media) to learn yoga let alone understand the sacred teachings. I instead pursued a high school teaching/coaching career.
A series of car accidents rekindled my curiosity of yoga out of necessity to help with chronic pain. I was astonished how a few lessons from a yoga DVD helped my back and I soon enrolled in a yoga class in El Paso.
I became a certified yoga teacher with 200 hours of training in Svaroopa yoga taught by Swami Nirmalananda Saraswati and have also taught Restorative Yoga, Power Yoga, Yin Yoga and Hatha Vinyasa Flow. I challenge myself daily to expand my knowledge of yoga and share with others the life changing benefits. Yoga is my passion!
My focus is on restorative yoga to discover the healing benefits it offers and counter the effects of my past injuries.
What is Yoga Bliss?
Yoga Bliss is when you realize your "true nature". When you are in a place of of quiet awareness. You feel peace, love, wisdom and joy (joy is the highest vibration). In that place of bliss you feel connected to God and the entire universe.
