TESTIMONIALS P. 2

As a a 64 year old man with osteoartritis, ligament damage to the right shoulder and knee, I can attest that the daily practice of yoga has kept me from losing mobility and enabling me to maintain the level of activity I require.  I started yoga in 2008, practicing twice weekly.  It was only when I started under the instruction of Betty that I understood the importance of daily practice.  Adding focused breathing and meditation, I can function normally, with minimal pain to my right knee and without taking pain medication.

Betty..we all (your students) owe you a debt of gratitude for your dedication and commitment to us.

Sincerely,

Fernie

My name is Patricia H. Aguilar, I’d like to share a short story of how yoga helped me physically.

In January of 2013, I had to endure a difficult storm.  I was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer.  That year I was faced surgery (lumpectomy), chemotherapy, and radiation.  I thank God, he got me through it all!

In 2014 I was recovering in remission!  Later, I started feeling excruciating pain on my left shoulder.  So severe the pain went to my neck.  I was in constant pain.  I asked God “Please help me.”  I was moved to try yoga.  I‘ve never been fond of yoga.

In the month of April 2018, I decided to take a yoga class.  That Monday I did every yoga pose instructed by instructor Betty.  I had to admit it was hard.  I enjoyed it so I went Wednesday and Friday as well.  Saturday morning I woke up very well.  No pain on my neck.  I told my husband, my arm feels brand new.  I strongly believe God healed me.  I also believe it was through yoga.  It’s been a month now “No Pain.”  I thank Betty, my yoga instructor for her dedication to her job.

For all of you out there enduring a form of neck pain, try yoga!  Of course, with a Doctor’s consent.
