I love homemade chai tea and it is good for the immune system.  The following recipe is from Yoga Yoga's website.  

INGREDIENTS (Makes 16 Cups of Tea):

16 cups of water          

30 cloves          

40 black peppercorns          

6 sticks of cinnamon     

16 ginger slices keep skin on

40 green cardamon crushed in a motor & pestle                      

8 bags of decaffeinated tea


Bring the 16 cups of water to a boil in a large pot and place all the spices in a large tea mesh ball.  Cover the pot and boil for 30 minutes.  For best flavor simmer for 2 to 3 hours.  Remove from the heat and add the tea bags and let it cool.  

Add Soy milk, Almond Milk, Cashew Milk, Fresh Milk or sweeten with honey or maple syrup.

Any leftover tea can be refrigerated for your next cup!

I recently hurt my knee (torn meniscus, torn ligament, torn muscle, a baker's cyst and bursitis) I tried this recipe and loved it.  I feel that it did help me.  I also started taking collagen in my 2 cups of tea in the morning.  I was able to avoid knee surgery!

This is how to prepare this recipe and you can use it every time you are experiencing any type of pain or joint or bone problem.


  • 40 grams of pumpkin seeds

  • 4 tablespoons sesame seeds

  • 8 tablespoons flaxseed (grind them)

  • 3 tablespoons raisins

  • 2 tablespoons unflavored gelatin

  • 200 grams of honey


Blend all the ingredients together until you liquify them into a homogenous mixture. Pour the mixture into a container and store it in a fridge for few hours.

Consume 1 tablespoon of this natural remedy for joint, bone and knee pain before breakfast and one more before lunchtime. If you consume this remedy regularly on a daily basis you will notice the results in a couple of weeks and your ligaments and tendons will be much stronger than before.

I take the tablespoon and roll it in my palm then roll it into walnuts.  Yummy!
